8-day Authentic Shaman & Ayahuasca Retreats with Dr. Sanango

Dr Sanango facilitates 8 – day ayahuasca healing retreats and shamanic dietas at Chinchelejo Lodge in the North Peruvian Amazonian village of Jenaro Herrera. Chinchelejo Lodge is a community medicine lodge and healing centre and home to indigenous ayahuascero (Shaman) Luco Navarro and family.

After several years acting as a community medicine lodge, we are excited to be re-opening Chinchelejo Lodge to foreign visitors as a retreat centre and research centre. We hope this will help us to support the local community as well as share ‘La medicina’ with the global community building a centre of positive cross-cultural exchange.

We offer an authentic healing experience in a real Amazonian community medicine lodge. Guests will be given expert support and guidance throughout retreats from resident Shaman Luco and his trusted family and apprentices. Our retreats include ayahuasca ceremonies in natural settings as well as the maloca (ceremony house) and a real taste of traditional Amazonian living!
