10-Day Ayahuasca Retreat in Ecuador with Indigenous Shamans (Amazon, Small Group)

The 10-day retreat is structured to support deep ceremonial work while allowing space for integration and connection with nature. You will participate in four traditional ayahuasca ceremonies guided by experienced indigenous shamans. Each ceremony is followed by integration and sharing circles with translation, helping you understand and process your experience. During the days, you will spend time in the surrounding Amazon rainforest—walking jungle trails, learning about medicinal plants, and engaging directly with the environment. You will also take part in the traditional, hands-on preparation of ayahuasca. The program includes individual energetic cleansing sessions, plant-based flower baths, and optional work with ancestral medicines such as tobacco and sananga. Cultural activities with a local Kichwa family, including songs and traditional practices, provide deeper insight into the traditions behind the work. The retreat follows a natural rhythm, balancing ceremony, integration, and immersion in the jungle in a grounded and supportive setting.

Guests stay in private wooden cabins immersed in the Ecuadorian Amazon, designed to offer both comfort and a close connection to nature. Each cabin includes a quality bed, mosquito net, electricity, and reliable internet, with large openings that allow natural light, fresh air, and views of the surrounding rainforest. The retreat is set in a quiet, secluded environment near the pristine Piatúa River—known for its crystal-clear water and unique natural energy—offering a peaceful space for reflection between ceremonies. The overall setting is simple, clean, and intentionally designed to support rest, grounding, and deep inner work in the heart of the jungle.

The retreat is located in the Ecuadorian Amazon (Pastaza Province), approximately 4 hours from Quito. You will first arrive at Quito International Airport (UIO). From there, we provide clear instructions for the journey to the Amazon. On the start day of the retreat, transportation can be arranged from Quito, with a shared meeting point and departure time communicated in advance. If you are already in Ecuador, we can also coordinate pickup from nearby towns such as Tena or Puyo, which are about 1 hour from the retreat. Our team stays in contact with you before arrival to ensure a smooth and straightforward journey.
