About
I am a therapist, yoga teacher, and a student of traditional Amazonian plant medicine. My therapeutic approach bridges the science of psychology with entheogenic ritual and practice to support you in your healing journey. I support individuals who are experiencing the impacts of complex trauma, depression and anxiety, as well as major life transitions, existential concerns, chronic illness, neurodivergence, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. I received a Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2012, and I am certified in psychedelic integration, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and somatic therapy. I began my relationship with Ayahuasca/Yaje in 2010, and since then, have travelled frequently to Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia, often staying for months out of the year, to deepen my understanding of indigenous Amazonian usage of Ayahuasca and Yaje. Prior to my personal therapy practice, I worked at psychiatric hospitals, social service organizations, group rehabilitation homes, and county jail. I have worked with patients and clients of all ages, gender identities, racial backgrounds, and mental health issues. Many of the therapeutic modalities that I use with clients are ones that have transformed my own life. I am passionate about sharing the tools and skills that benefitted me for the wellbeing of others, and for our collective healing.
How I work with clients
Treatment approach
Generational trauma creates obstacles to connecting to and expressing our true selves. This disconnect can manifest as depression, anxiety, loss of sense of purpose, and lack of understanding for how to navigate our relationship to self, others, and ultimately life itself.
Through our work together, I offer a place to meaningfully explore your truth, values, and relationships. I hope to help you cultivate your own ability to connect to yourself, recognizing how challenges have impacted you and how they can help you grow.
My practice of psychotherapy and psychedelic integration has been shaped by trauma-informed, indigenous, cross-cultural, holistic, and transpersonal worldviews and approaches.
