About

Tara Kinney, CRNA, APRN, takes a holistic, integrative approach to patient care at Quad Cities Ketamine Clinic. At the Ketamine infusion clinic in Davenport, Iowa, she can help patients manage and treat their anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more. Ms. Kinney’s clinical expertise involves mood disorders, chronic pain, and anesthesia services. As a lifelong learner with over 10 years of experience working in the operating room, Ms. Kinney began to develop an appreciation for the many uses of ketamine and its applications in therapy. As an independent practitioner and owner-operator of Advantage Anesthesia, Ms. Kinney oversaw the care of countless surgical patients and developed a love for the state of Iowa and surrounding counties. It was while working and living in Bettendorf, Iowa that Ms. Kinney saw the need of the community for more holistic and comprehensive care of chronic pain and mood disorders. Ms. Kinney then attended the Ketamine Academy and joined the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners before opening Quad Cities Ketamine Clinic in February of 2020.

How I work with clients

In order to get started we an in person consultation with patients to assure they meet our criteria for treatment. We will request a copy of previous medical/psychiatric records and require either a psychiatric evaluation to be completed by our staff psychiatric practitioner or a referral from their current practitioner. Once we have the necessary evaluation and prior medical records, we can schedule the treatment series. A medical and physical exam will be completed prior to the first infusion and patient will be assessed prior to each treatment to determine treatment dosing.

Treatment approach

We offer a holistic and individualized treatment approach and will adjust the infusion dose and adjunct medications to suit the desired outcomes.
