As a specialist in psychiatry and addictions, he focuses on helping patients learn about their conditions and find the most effective treatments. In addition to patient care, Dr. Lott is committed to community education as well as teaching and research, including studies on opioid addiction and other topics. He is also a Distiguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and President of the Illinois Society of Addiction Medicine. He follows evidence-based procedures to provide the best outcome possible for his patients.

Dr. Lott was described to me, by a referring physician, as “a genius” and as “intuitive” with his patients. I can say with certainty, after six months of Spravato / Esketamine (Ketamine) treatment that he is living up to that description.
The whole practice is very professional. Judy and Sarah are straight-talkers, and are good at making you feel comfortable during treatment sessions. The level of care is appreciated, and the office follows up when they say they will. They call you back when they say they will. They really care about you here.
