About

Dr. Tsang graduated from UCLA in 1999, attended Western University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California, graduating with his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. He completed Residency training at UCLA-Olive View Psychiatry Residency Program and served as Chief Resident of the Inpatient Psychiatry Service in his final year of Residency. During that time, Dr. Tsang worked closely with the Veteran and County populations in multiple settings, acquiring valuable experience forming therapeutic relationships with a broad range of patients. These experiences demonstrated the healing benefits of a positive patient / doctor relationship which he continues to incorporate in his current treatment approach. Dr. Tsang started his career at Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo in 2008 after completing Residency. After working closely with mutiple Primary Care Providers treating mutual patients, he was appointed by the Dept of Family Medicine to create a Behavioral Medicine curriculum for a new Residency training program, later known as the Napa-Solano Family Medicine Residency. He then served as clinical faculty in the position of Co-Director of Behavioral Medicine and Wellness, teaching Family Medicine Residents in addition to professional and personal development with emphasis on support and wellness during training.
