About
Hilary Morris is a state of Colorado licensed professional counselor and a national board certified counselor. She is the president and executive officer of Hilary Morris, LPC.
Hilary has over seven years of clinical counseling experience. She is trained in evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), stress inoculation training (SIT), mindfulness, and desensitization therapies such as EMDR. She helps clients identify roots of anxiety and post-traumatic stress. She uses a strength-based approach to help clients improve inward sources of self-validation and self-esteem. Breathing, meditation, and mindfulness also help clients who are looking for holistic practices to improve their symptoms. She is also a certified ketamine therapist, providing ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to augment traditional cognitive behavioral approaches and somatic therapies that help her clients who struggle with PTSD symptoms regain emotional control over their bodies.
In addition, Hilary provides clinical and forensic services for workers’ compensation and personal injury patients. She has extensive clinical experience and expertise in mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) secondary to mTBI. She provides psychotherapy to help patients manage and de-escalate their emotional symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She equips patients to identify triggers and disrupt conditioned stimuli from trauma response. This helps improve overall emotional control and resilience over PTSD symptoms. She is also trained in expert witness testimony, deposition, psychological evaluation and psychotherapy to assess readiness to return to work.
