About

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in IA and NH. I provide non-ordinary therapy using an IFS (level one trained) framework. I am a certified ketamine assisted therapist, certified psychedelic therapist, and certified psychedelic integration therapist.

How I work with clients

I take a collaborative approach to therapy that emphasizes strengths and solutions. I believe that everyone is capable of being resourceful and resilient in the face of challenges. The natural world illustrates resilience in it's ability to survive in the face of uncertainty and change, offering us a constant reminder that there is hope and that we too, can recover from the difficulties that life throws at us.

Treatment approach

I work from the IFS (internal family systems) model. IFS is an evidence-based, trauma-informed, non-pathological therapy approach that embraces the multiplicity of the mind. Using this approach, I assist clients in accessing their authentic self and building relationships with all the parts of their internal system or personality system. This approach creates safety for the parts of ourselves to release extreme roles, rigid beliefs, and painful experiences.
