About
Dr. Gainok began his career in the healthcare field as a nursing assistant in 1999 and then joined the United States Army and became a combat medic. He continued his professional development by attending the Army’s Licenses Practical Nurse course in 2000 and then completed a Bachelor of Nursing at George Mason University in 2004, ultimately completing the UTEP Doctorate of Nursing program in 2015. Dr. Gainok completed several tours in Iraq before retiring from active duty in April 2019. Over his 22-year career in the military, he has completed countless hours of patient care as a bedside nurse and as an anesthesia provider. Ketamine Colorado Springs was established with a mission to provide specialized treatment for depression and PTSD to active duty family members and Veterans. Having provided care in both the hospital and combat setting, his experiences with service members and their families has created a well-rounded practitioner. He is here to serve you and give you the best patient experience possible!
