Philip Getson, D.O. is a family physician in practice since 1976 in New Jersey. He is a locally, nationally and internationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and has lectured extensively on the subject. He has treated countless patients with Ketamine infusion therapy and, while official statistics are still being compiled, better than 80% of those treated have reported improvement. His office was one of the first to begin offering Ketamine infusion therapy in the country and he continues offering this treatment for patients suffering from pain disorders that have not responded to other conventional therapies. Dr. Getson also offers holistic health coaching, helping his patients achieve their health goals through adjustments to lifestyle and behavior.

After my husband’s former rsd ketamine program was discontinued in Philly, research led us here. Dr Getson is a great choice since it seems he assisted in developing the protocol along with Dr Schwartzman the originator of the treatment for RSD. He has a great personality, is easy going and puts you at ease. His nurse is just as personable, professional and knowledgeable. You’ll love it here.

Dr Getson is a true caring doctor. The only doctor I have ever trusted. He tells you what is happening in your body and does everything in his power to help. This type of doctor does not exist any longer. He enjoys his patients above all else. His staff has always showed me compassion and kindness. Many doctors could learn a great deal from him.

Doc has been taking care of my amazing father for 20 years as of March 31st, 2017. My father has had 13 back surgeries, 2 spinal cord stimulators and RSD in his lower back and legs. He is my number 1 doctor to ever go to. He’s become family. He is also there for me in my emergency situations. Along with my dad, I now have herniated discs and nerve problems that he’s been helping me to find comfort and no more pain. Love you Doc!!!!

What an intelligent, caring, wonderful, knowledgeable doctor. I couldn’t be happier with the compassion and care this man has shown me through my battle with RSD. I highly recommend him. He stands behinds his patients, does research and knows his facts. His caring and skills have honestly saved my life and my job and drastically improved my quality of life and ability to be there for my sons. I could never thank him enough for all he’s done. Please never change and never retire–wishful thinking.
