About
I am a very easy-going person who uses a lot of humor in session. I have a big old dog in my office most of the time, who is a trained and certified therapy dog. My ideal client is someone who is motivated to improve their life and is in it for the long haul. A lot of my clients are struggling to figure out who they are or why they’re struggling so much and I encourage people to explore all possibilities of themselves and give themselves permission to not have it all figured out. I try my best to make therapy enjoyable but don’t get me wrong; you will definitely grow in the process. I work quite a bit with gay and lesbian individuals as well as do a lot of work with attachment issues and trauma, from car accidents to childhood abuse and everything in between. I understand the struggle and the fear that comes along with trying to love yourself and to set boundaries, and I help clients find and feel that love.
