About

Clara Mackinlay is a somatic psychotherapist, Ketamine provider, psychedelic guide, psychedelic preparation and integration specialist, Reiki Master, and yoga instructor based in Los Angeles, CA. Everything she does is centered around supporting individuals seeking holistic trauma healing. Clara blends extensive clinical training with deep, embodied experience to support individuals seeking a body-based, relational, and spiritually grounded approach to healing. Her work draws from Somatic Experiencing®, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and numerous holistic modalities that honor the mind-body-spirit connection. She brings lived experience with a variety of indigenous plant medicines and has been mentored under numerous Shipibo-trained medicine women.

A first-generation American with Argentinian and indigenous roots, Clara’s work is grounded in reverence for ancestral wisdom, earth-based healing, and the sacred relationship we hold with nature. Whether guiding clients through trauma resolution, nervous system regulation, or psychedelic integration, Clara brings a deeply compassionate and embodied presence to support transformation.

How I work with clients

My approach integrates the science of the nervous system with intuitive, heart-centered presence. I believe therapy should feel human, sacred, and practical all at once — a space where evidence-based practices meet intuition, and healing becomes an act of remembering who you are.

Treatment approach

Integrative, somatic, plant-centered, and deeply relational
