George Hwang

Dr. Hwang has lived in the DC area since 2000, starting with his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University. After graduating, he joined a research team at the National Institutes of Mental Health (NIMH) investigating fMRI brain scans and shortly thereafter, began his medical school studies at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Hwang went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Anesthesiology at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, where he earned numerous teaching awards by students and resident physicians. Dr. Hwang is currently a practicing, board-certified anesthesiologist, who has extensive experience and knowledge of ketamine. Combining this with his empathy and commitment to patient care, Dr. Hwang has been a great addition to the MindPeace Clinic in Arlington.
