About
Edgar Celis, MD, has dedicated himself to the treatment of depression and neuropathic pain syndromes with ketamine infusion therapy. A board certified anesthesiologist, he completed his residency and pain fellowship training at Harvard’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, The California State Society of Anesthesiologists and the California Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He has many years of expertise using ketamine in the operating room and uses the same standards of care and safety during the office based infusions. Dr. Celis has previous experience in private practice and with leading academic hospitals in Boston, New York City, and Miami. He has a particular interest and valuable experience in comprehensive pain management and advanced minimally invasive techniques, including ultrasound-guided nerve injections and spinal cord stimulation.

Dr Celis hands down BEST experience I have ever had with any doctor. After 13 knee surgeries and 3 full knee replacements and near amputation because of infection I have had a fair amount of exposure to doctors. Dr Celis by FAR was the BEST listener and seemed to have the ability to target my concerns and greatly reduced my back pain with Radiofrequency Ablation. He is a real credit to his profession and you won’t be sorry if you seek his service in addressing your pain management.

Dr. Celis is the kindest Dr. I have worked with. He is attentive and his office staff are very caring. I have had chronic severe depression for 25+ years. I have tried all the meds. Ketamine infusions have turned my life around. Within hours of my first treatment, thoughts of suicide were gone. I have been receiving them for a year now and was able to discontinue the antidepressants. The only “side effect” was that my chronic migraines went from 25 a month to 1 a month. Life changing experience for me. Thank you Dr. Celis!

Dr. Celis and his staff have been lifesavers for me. He is a true medical professional with compassion for my struggle. Ketamine infusions have been the only medication that have provided me any sort of relief from a lifetime struggle with treatment resistant major depressive disorder. He understands this debilitating, life threatening disease and works to provide the best treatments available available. He has saved my life and and continues to work with me to keep me a functioning part of society despite my condition. He always listens, and never seems to rush my sessions.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Celis’ for several years and I can do nothing but give thanks to him for helping my mother mitigate her chronic pain. He has an amazing bedside manner, is patient, kind, and makes his patients feel heard so he is able to help them in the best way possible.
I cant express how grateful I am for Dr. Celis, my mother has a much better quality of life thanks to his caring nature and desire to help others.
