About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) focused on supporting the mental health and transformation of my clients.

I work to address core wounds and instilled beliefs that hold us back from being our most authentic selves. We are often stuck in patterns of thoughts and behaviors that create pain and suffering. By deepening into the therapeutic process, we will work to liberate from experiences of fear and avoidance, and move towards personal and relational health.

Healing is always possible and therapy does help. While the process may seem scary, it’s also filled with insight, humor, and genuine connection along the way.

My specialties include addressing addiction issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and spiritual or existential concerns. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and also work from a Contemplative Psychotherapy frame utilizing mindfulness and meditation. I am trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and am passionate about psychedelic integration.

How I work with clients

Psychedelic psychotherapy is a form of therapy in which legal psychedelic medicines are used in session to catalyze and support the therapeutic process. Psychedelic medicines often provide non-ordinary states of consciousness that enable new ways of accessing and approaching internal experiences. Whether to address specific concerns such as anxiety, depression or trauma, or simply to engage in the process of depth exploration and spiritual growth, psychedelic psychotherapy is an option that enables individuals to deepen their therapeutic work in a safe and supportive environment.

Treatment approach

Treatment plans typically include a minimum of three individual psychotherapy sessions for preparation, followed by a mandatory medical screen with a prescribing physician. All medicine sessions are followed by a series of integration sessions. As a psychedelic therapist, I only work with legal medicines (Ketamine) under the direction and guidance of medical professionals. All clients interested in psychedelic therapy will first be screened to ensure safety with this modality. Psychedelic Therapy is not for everyone.
